Hosting local, national, and international speakers discussing current and cutting edge techniques, personal perspectives, and thought-provoking issues in surgery, Emory Surgical Grand Rounds are open to all and held on Thursday mornings, 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m., in the Emory University Hospital Auditorium (unless otherwise noted). CME credits are given for documented attendance — for more information, contact the CME Office of the School of Medicine at 404.727.5695.
There are eight visiting professorships affiliated with the Department of Surgery that also present at Grand Rounds. These professorships offer additional opportunities to hear prominent and influential speakers who are in the vanguard of their respective specialties.
Speaker-related inquiries should be directed to Dr. Virgina Shaffer or Dr. Maria Russell, Grand Rounds Coordinators of the Department of Surgery at Emory.
If you would like to be added to the e-mail list for our monthly grand rounds schedules, please contact Sean Moore, Communications Manager for the Department of Surgery, at srmoore@emory.edu.
