Biography

Dr. Carlson is one of the small number of surgeons who is fellowship trained in both plastic surgery and surgical oncology. This unique skill set allows him to treat breast cancer and the damage it can cause. His studies of nipple and skin sparing mastectomy have afforded significant improvements in the outcomes of breast reconstruction for patients with breast cancer. He is also a leading expert in microvascular surgery for head and neck cancer patients.
