Research Interests
- Tissue engineering with a particular emphasis on the design of new polymeric materials for organ/tissue regeneration based upon biomimetic principles. Other research areas include the role of cell surface heparan sulfate proteoglycans in the development of atherosclerosis and the development of immunoisolation strategies for cell transplantation.
- Clinical research interests focus on the endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms, wound healing and the use of biologics for the management of vascular disease.
