Current Research Interests
green arrow Investigation of the disparities of care for breast cancer patients. Dr. Gabram is the the medical director for the AVON outreach and navigation program as well as the Co-PI on the AVON Foundation grant responsible for clinical access to care for breast cancer patients in the Grady Health System.
green arrow Collaboration with Dr. Charlene Bayer at the Georgia Technology Research Institute as Co-PI on a study examining breath biomarkers in exhaled specimens as a potential tool for breast cancer disease detection and monitoring.
green arrow Investigation of patients at risk for breast cancer. Dr. Gabram is currently partnering with Kent Hoskins MD, a medical oncologist in Rockford, IL, on disseminating a user friendly tool that identifies women for referral to genetics counseling and testing.
