Since its inception, the OMFS program at Emory has developed into a regional center for the treatment of dento-facial jaw deformities and temporomandibular disorders. Division faculty perform:

green arrow Surgical and non-surgical treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders

green arrow Treatment of congenital and acquired facial deformities

 Postgraduate Training

The OMFS residency is a CODA accredited program based in six institutions including a two-hospital pediatric center. Upon successful completion of the program, residents are eligible to apply for examination leading to certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The division also offers a post-residency fellowship as well internship and externship programs.
