Dr. Bouloux is one of the few surgeons in Georgia routinely performing temporomandibular joint surgery including total joint replacement. As the director of research for the division, he recently completed three EMCF-funded studies on mandibular fractures as well as an investigation of the management of head and neck infections. Currently he is involved in a multicenter study funded by the AAOMS comparing different medications used during TMJ arthrocentesis.
