Dr. Bouloux was the first surgeon at Emory and one of the few surgeons in Georgia to routinely perform temporomandibular joint (TMJ) arthroscopy and total joint replacement using a stock TMJ prosthesis. His primary research focus is TMJ dysfunction including surgical outcomes, psychological predictors of outcomes, laser-assisted surgical arthroscopy, and the use of hyaluronic acid.
