Biography

Dr. Losken was an early advocate and practitioner of breast oncoplastic surgery, a method for breast cancer surgery in which surgical oncologists and plastic surgeons work together to remove the lesion and preserve and reconstruct breast tissue. He has also contributed to the development and refinement of body contouring after weight loss surgery.

Dr. Losken is a respected and sought after speaker at national meetings; has served as editor for the books Advances in Abdominal Wall Reconstruction (2012), Innovations in Plastic Surgery: Acellular Dermal Matrices in Breast Surgery (2010), and New Techniques in Partial Breast Reconstruction: The Oncoplastic Approach (2008); and has been consistently named one of Atlanta's Top Doctors by Atlanta magazine.
